Better Call Saul Season 5 starring Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn, Jonathon Banks, Michael Mando, Giancarlo Esposito and Tony Dalton ended last night. The show is a prequel to Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul’s 2008 show, Breaking Bad. BB is considered as one of the best shows ever made and BCS is almost getting close to it.
As season 5 is now over, fans have a lot of questions they want the makers to answer in the sixth season. The sixth season will be the finale of Better Call Saul. In an interview with Rollingstone, BCS’ creators Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan opened up on what to expect in the final season.
When asked what will happen to Bob Oderkirk’s Jimmy aka Saul Goodman, Rhea Seehorn’s Kim Wexler and Tony Dalton’s Lalo in the finale season, the makers gave an interesting season. About Saul Goodman aka Jimmy, Peter Gould said, “It’s not one straight march downhill. He seems more vulnerable at the end of the season than Saul did.”
About Kim Wexler’s character, Gould shared, “In a lot of ways, Kim is the soul in question here. We know, for better or worse, who Saul Goodman seemed to be on Breaking Bad. But what happens to Kim Wexler? Where is she headed? There’s a lot of possibilities and a lot of not-so-great possibilities.”

Better Call Saul Season 5 saw the power of Lalo, played by Tony Dalton. He is the cousin of Salamanca who is one of the villains in Breaking Bad. Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould reveal that it wasn’t easy to make Lalo an essential character in the series.
About the same, Gilligan shared, “I’m embarrassed to admit this now. but back in Season One or Two when I was more active on the show, Peter kept saying, ‘We’ve gotta answer who Lalo is,’ and I finally said, ‘I don’t know that we need to answer every single question.’ And man, I was wrong. If Peter hadn’t pushed, we wouldn’t have Tony Dalton. We wouldn’t have this amazing character. So, some of the ones that I found the most frustrating to deal with, that I said, ‘Ah, the hell with them. Who cares?’ tend to be the best ones of all.”
Without revealing any spoilers, all we can say is that in the final episode of BCS season 5, Lalo caused a lot of havoc. It changes the entire dynamics of the show and we wonder how it will enter in the world of Walt and Jesse Pinkman in the sixth and final season!
