The trailer of new Prakash Jha film Satyagraha is finally unveiled. Delivering a compelling first look, from its trailer itself the film looks deliciously dramatic. Using the typical Prakash Jha prototype characters, high chances are yet again the film’s performance will depend on how its ensemble cast fares in terms of giving out solid acting.
In order to battle for truth, justice and rights, Satyagraha evidently uses Gandhi’s formula of attaining revolution. As the popular hymn, Raghupati Raghav plays in the background, the trailer itself forces you to think about the pitiable state of affairs in our country. Plagued with despotic rule of the bourgeoisie classes, this film has perhaps the maximum relevance in the light of Anna Hazare’s social initiative against corruption.

Like all of Jha’s previous films, this one is macroscopic and spread out on a wide socio-political canvas. It will be intriguing to figure out to delve into the motives and moods of the film’s characters.
With actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and Manoj Bajpai who are highlighted in the trailer, one can expect the film’s soul to be engaging by holding up such a power packed screenplay from its looks!
Personally, despite holding on to minimal expectations this trailer is making me look forward to the film quite eagerly. I presume it is the Prakash Jha phenomena, along with the dramatic high that we presuppose will be there like all of Jha’s films. For me, this one works well and I recommend the trailer as an enticing one!
