Finally the first look of one of year’s most anticipated releases is out. A Milan Lutharia directorial, produced by Balaji is always intense. While the images of The Dirty Picture is still fresh in memories, this time around the team has put up a fascinating first show. Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again, is a sequel to the 2010 film that kick started that gangster series.
Keeping in mind the obvious comparisons that may arise, the director has been careful is rendering a new perspective to the film’s story this time. While the last edition was a power game, this time the motives of the same have diversified.
Akshay Kumar, who plays the prominent role of Shoaib Khan, instantly garners your liking for his suave charisma. Imran Khan who has shed all his boy-like inhibitions and mannerisms mange to command respect opposite Akshay Kumar as the second lead. Surely this film will give us a view of Khan, Bollywood has left unexplored.

And finally Sonakshi Sinha whose work is speedily making statements for her, does stand out dynamically as the film’s overwhelming female lead and the bone of contention between the actors.
The film from its apparent look does seem a well punched, strongly scripted feat. Looking optimistically, it won’t be hard for the film to fare well unless botched up by a shabby execution. But being familiar with Lutharia’s body of work, I can safely estimate that Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again will be a gripping story with a few commendable performances to watch out for, or so we hope!
However, a trailer can divulge only the zest. The curtains from the full length feature falls down this and though Salman Khan fans are going to miss him terribly, OUATIMA Team has hopefully attempted to partly cover up for that. The rest depends on the other other contender, Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan ‘s Chennai Express. This August will surely be a delightful time for Bollywood!
