After making the sequel of the 1990 hit film Aashiqui 2, Mohit Suri and Vishesh Films is contemplating to remake their 1991 film, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin. The original that was directed by Mahesh Bhatt starred Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt in lead roles. The original was again a collaboration between T-Series honcho Gulshan Kumar and the Bhatts!

Drawing the impetus from the success of their latest team up work Aashiqui 2, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin‘s reboot version will star Emraan Hashmi in the lead role that was played by Aamir Khan in the original. Though the lead lady of the film has still not been zeroed on and the makers are considering suitable actresses for the role.
