The year 2023 has offered us some of the best content on OTT. With mainstream stars foraying into web series and taking their careers a step forward, we got some mind-blowing performances in web series last year. So, we are back with a new set of nominations in Koimoi Audience Poll 2023.

It is our annual tradition to honor the best in the business, and last year offered us a range of web series from dark comedies to thrillers, from dramas to comedies, from rom-coms to quintessential romances, and from societal dramas to family entertainers, the year had us all covered.

We are here with the nominations for the best actress of 2023 who offered something different, a little extra than the effort. That particular X factor made their act shine like a star in the galaxy of performances.

Wamiqa Gabbi – Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley

The web series had Wamiqa playing Charlie Chopra, a character as unusual as its name. The series had Wamiqa play a strong-headed girl who comes to rescue her fiancee, who is accused of his Uncle’s murder. The web series on Sony Liv was quite loved.

Dimple Kapadia – Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo

The crime drama had Dimple Kapadia play a drug cartel leader in a matriarchal society. Dimple’s Rani Baa, who was an inspiring saas to her bahus, played by Isha Talwar and Angira Dhar, won hearts. If you were pleased with her performance in the Disney Plus Hotstar series, vote in the Koimoi Audience Poll 2023.

Rajshree Deshpande: Trial by Fire

The third nomination in this category is Rajshree Deshpande, who played a resilient mother trying to seek justice. The web series was based on the Uphaar Fire tragedy of 1997.

Aditi Rao Hydari: Jubilee

Jubilee has been the pole star of 2023, shining bright in every category, and Aditi Rao Hydari’s portrayal of Sumitra Kumari in this web series based on the cinema period of the 40s deserves all the accolades.
