For the first season with Mumbai, Rohit bagged an impressive price of 9.20 crores, which is a growth of 206.66% from the salary of the debut season.

At the same price of 9.20 crores, Rohit Sharma was retained by the Mumbai franchise for three seasons. In 2014, the Hitman enjoyed another hike of 35.86% as his salary went from 9.20 crores to 12.50 crores. With this price tag, he was retained for four seasons, and the next hike came in 2018 when he got a 15 crores salary. It was growth of 20%.
From 2018 to 2021, Rohit Sharma was paid 15 crores for each season, which he rightly deserved as his leadership helped Mumbai win multiple trophies.

In 2022, Rohit again got a hike, and his salary went up to 16 crores. With the retained status, he was paid the same amount in 2023, and even for this edition, he got the same amount.
