Wendy Williams, Ex-Husband Kevin Hunter Sell Their New Jersey Home For $1.4 Million & It’s Lesser Than What They Asked For

Talk show host Wendy Williams and her ex-husband Kevin Hunter are cutting off all the ties that are still keeping them together. The couple, who has a high-profile divorce, sold their New Jersey home for $1.475million.

The ex-couple finally closed the sale of their New Jersey mansion, a place they lived in for years, after putting it for sale in August 2019. But, the 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms mansion was sold for a price lesser than what was originally asked for – $2million. The master suite of the house includes huge walk-in closets, a marble bath, jacuzzi and steam shower.

The former couple’s real estate agent Jamie Silverman told TMZ ‘the reason for the price reduction was the COVID-19 pandemic.’ Jamie said the buyers were a young family and also fans of Wendy. The talk show host even dropped by to pay them a visit and wish them well.

A source close to Wendy Williams told E! News, “Unfortunately, she had to take a loss but she is really just happy to move forward with her life. She could not be more excited to get back to work.”

Wendy is gearing up for the return of her show. Now in its 12th season, the show is said to premiere on September 21. The source added that after finalizing her divorce the 56-year-old is ‘so excited to put the past behind her.’

The source added, “She’s like a new woman these days. Wendy is feeling healthy and really happy. This whole ordeal behind her is giving her a new lease on life.” The insider revealed Wendy currently living in New York City and is “loving being able to get out a little bit more now. She is really having a nice time and enjoying the rest of summer before work starts up in September.”

Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter’s divorce was official in January. Post the divorce, Wendy got to keep a place they have in Florida while Kevin got to keep the proceeds from a house he sold in Morristown, NJ. The proceeds of the New Jersey home will be divided 50-50 between them.
