Kobe Bryant, the Lakers star, passed away earlier this year. His wife Vanessa Bryant talked about a very special gift her late husband had given her years ago, a S*x and The City dress. She went on Instagram to show the world a little glimpse of the present.
“I found this beautiful dress [Kobe] gifted me a long time ago.” Vanessa Bryant captioned the social media post. In the picture, the dress is seen alongside a screenshot from the popular show, in which Sarah Jessica Parker’s famous character, Carrie Bradshaw, is seen sporting the same dress.

Vanessa continued in the post, “Not going to lie, I was taken back with emotion. He was SO romantic. Still showing me he [loves] me from Heaven. Love you forever boo-boo. #Bestofthebest.”
Vanessa Bryant even talked about what had inspired the gift, “#S*xandtheCity When Mr. Big comes and gets Carrie back. Paris. Missing my boo-boo and my sweet girl. So nice to have found this dress today. You set the bar so high baby. No love like REAL LOVE❤.”

That’s not all. The world-famous Lakers player, Kobe Bryant, also gifted another unique gift to his beloved wife.

“He gave me the actual notebook and the blue dress that Rachel McAdams wore in The Notebook movie. When I asked him why he chose the blue dress, he said it was because it’s the scene when Allie comes back to Noah.” Vanessa Bryant said during an emotional eulogy at her husband’s memorial event.
Kobe Bryant, along with their daughter Gianna and seven others, passed away in a helicopter crash earlier in 2020.

Vanessa Bryant further said, “We had hoped to grow old together like in the movie. We really had an amazing love story. We loved each other with our whole beings. Two perfectly imperfect people making a beautiful family and raising our sweet and amazing girls.”
