Popular singer Rita Ora has been trending on Twitter for hours now and wait, the reason isn’t any song. As shocking as it may sound, Twitterati has just realised that the Ora is not black and well, resulting in the trend. Below is all you need to know about the same.
The conversation around colour and the people representing it has intensified since the breakout of Black Lives Matter. The most recent person to have found herself in the debate is Rita Ora. Many netizens have now found out that Ora is not of the Black descent and that has left a lot of them shocked.
For the unversed, the singer was born in Kosovo and is of the Albanian descent. Born in 1990, her family moved to England after a year in 1991. The details as per a Madamenoire report are from All Music.

Reacting to Rita Ora’s revelation, a Twitter user wrote, “finding out Rita ora isn’t black at all and both of her parents are white Albanians is so trippy. the girls BEEN blackfishing.” Another said, “I just found out that Rita Ora isn’t black… like at ALL. She’s literally the same ethnicity as Dua Lipa.”
