Chris Hemsworth will reprise his role of God of Thunder in Thor: Love and Thunder. The film will mark the return of Natalie Portman in MCU as Jane Foster. She will play female Thor in it. Another talented actor who will be joining the Marvel Universe with this film is Christian Bale.
In Thor: Love and Thunder, Christian Bale will play the villain against Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. There were reports that The Dark Knight actor will essay Ares, the God of War in the film. But the latest update suggests that he might essay a very powerful and ruthless villain in the film.
As reported by WeGotThisCovered, Christian Bale can play either of the three villains – Mephisto, Gorr the God Butcher and Dario Agger aka Minotaur. The portal mentioned that Bale might mostly play Dario Agger aka Minotaur in Thor: Love and Thunder. As the film is being helmed by Taika Waititi, Dario Agger is apt for the director’s comedic elements. We all saw how Waititi made Thor: Ragnarok (2017) with humorous touch.

Talking about Agger, the villain first made an appearance in the Comics #19 Thor: God of Thunder. He is known for mercilessly exploiting Earth’s natural resources without thinking about consequences. He’s a kind of villain who would do anything and everything to prove his power, for his benefits and wouldn’t care of how it affects others. So Christian Bale might portray this terrifying prick kind of villain perfectly in Thor: Love and Thunder.
But yet, nothing is confirmed about his villain character in the fourth Thor film. Till then, all we can do is contain our excitement to see Chris and Christian fighting against each other on the big screen.
