After breaking record collection with Twilight Saga, PVR pictures released the trailer of the much awaited ‘The Host’. The movie is based on Stephenie Meyer’s book The Host, the film stars Diane Kruger, William Hurt and Jake Abel.

Directed by Andrew Niccol, the trailer is fast paced and manages to hold audience’s attention throughout. The scenes have been shot extremely well and depicts that love will always succeed in any situation. The Sci-Fi thriller revolves around a journey of the lead character whose body is injected with a parasitic alien soul. The film takes a twist when Melanie Stryder bonds with her host and sets out to aid other free humans instead of carrying out her race’s mission of taking over the Earth.

The trailer has left the audiences wanting more and are quiet excited and waiting eagerly for the release. Presented by PVR Pictures, the movie will release in spring in India. PVR Pictures will be releasing a whole lot of Hollywood movies in India including Zero Dark Thirty, Now You See Me, Admissions and The Reluctant Fundamentalist. Only time will say if aliens can prove to be a bigger excitement than vampires?
