FRIENDS is not merely a TV series; it’s an emotion. Recently, The Chase hosted a “Friends reunion”, and the ITV quiz show fans got really overwhelmed. Read on to know more.
The viewer’s quickly noticed that the contestants’ names were the same as the four characters of Friends. They introduced themselves as Rachael, Phoebe, Ross and Joe leaving Monica and Chandler to complete the full reunion.
“I’d be Marcel, the monkey,” joked Jenny as she made a reference to Ross’ pet during the initial seasons of the Friends series. Host Bradley Walsh also declared, “I’m Gunther!” referring to the coffee house manager who was crazy for Rachel Green.

The Chase Fans got surprised at the coincidence as well. One wrote on social media: “OMG howling at #thechase team…they made a #friends reunion!”
Another Tweet reads, “Wondering if I’m watching The Chase or Friends lol.” A third shared a photo of the team, and wrote: “If the UK done a British version of Friends #TheChase.” Have a look at the tweets:
