Christopher Nolan’s much-awaited Tenet is all set for International release on coming August 26, following multiple delays due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Sci-fi thriller will be released in the selected areas of the US on September 3. According to reports, Christopher Nolan used the concept of time inversion in his film Tenet. This means the characters in the film has to travel backwards through time while time progresses normally around them. Reportedly, he had not used the more traditional time travel in the film.
Nolan’s latest mind-bending blockbuster cast includes John David Washington in the role of The Protagonist, with Kenneth Branagh as a shady Russian oligarch, Robert Pattinson, as a character called Neil and Elizabeth Debicki as the oligarch’s estranged wife.

While Nolan’s latest thriller is no less than a mystery, a fan has revealed on Twitter that the celebrated director went the extra mile to make the time inversion scenes look real. Lewis claims that the director shot each time inversion scene twice (once forward and once backwards) in order to get the time inversion effect correct. This means that the actors in the film had to perform their roles backwards too.

Unlike the regular modern action movie, Nolan’s approach to the movie was exceptional. Lewis in his tweet mentioned that the professional stuntmen involved in the production had never worked on a film like this. The director has not used the green screen, which means the viewers are in for a real treat.
-everything shot on location
-Kenneth Branagh looks like he’s gonna steal the show tbh lol
-Nolan described it as a globe trotting spy epic
-Pattinson said no one has ever done anything like it before & no-one will ever be able to do it again— 𝕝𝕛𝕨𝕣 • Lewis (@ljwr_) August 12, 2020
-Plot spoiler (ish). NOT about time travel, it’s about time inversion, apparently that’s an actual theoretical thing (wtf??)
-about family & a personal story but also the whole world is at risk
-A LOT of IMAX footage
I’ll go into detail later but rn I’m watching Inception lol— 𝕝𝕛𝕨𝕣 • Lewis (@ljwr_) August 12, 2020
While the Lewis’ claims are true or not, can only be determined after the film is released. Given Nolan’s reputation to push the boundaries of what an action thriller can look like, viewers can expect some explosive action set-pieces from Tenet.
