Wise people always say that love has no age barriers and there are several examples across the globe, proving this saying. Now, the same goes for Beverly Johnson, as the supermodel has got engaged at the age of 67.
Yes, you read that right. Beverly Johnson, the first black woman to grace the cover Vogue in 1974, has got herself engaged with Brian Maillian. It is learnt that Brian is currently 70 years old. Apart from his age, very less is known about the lucky man.
Speaking about the same, Johnson said, “This is the first time I’ve dated someone so close to my age. We know the same songs and we’ve lived through a lot of the same things,” as per the report in People.

Beverly Johnson also stated that Brian and she share a lot of things in common, which is why they are exceptionally compatible with each other. She described the experience of finding new love as amazing.
“As I was breaking boundaries in the fashion industry, he was doing the same on Wall Street. Just finding the love of my life at this point in my life has been amazing,” Johnson quoted further.
For the unversed, Beverly Johnson will be tying a knot for the third time. In 1971, she married Billy Potter but they divorced in 1974. She was then married to Danny Sims in 1977. The couple got separated in 1979.
Speaking about the third marriage, she looked a bit excited as she quoted, “I was like how the heck did that happen? I was saying ‘I’m never going to get married again’.”
