Shaun Weiss Is Looking For New Teeth After Being Sober For Almost Six Months

The child actor from Mighty Ducks, now 41-year-old Shaun Weiss, has battled with drugs in his past. But now a new leaf, his health has improved a great deal after being sober as he happily looks forward to getting new teeth along with his friend Drew Gallagher.

Weiss recently celebrated 170 days of being sober!

Shaun’s friend, Drew Gallagher, has set up a GoFundMe page and is looking to raise approximately $25,000 from donations for Shaun’s dental and current treatment while also looking to get a brand new set of teeth, as right now, Shaun has none.

Drew also updates his friend’s inspirational journey towards recovery on the page.

The Mighty Ducks actor, who played Greg Goldberg in the 1992 film, was spotted having lunch with Drew last week. His friend said that Shaun is much better now. Gallagher also wrote, “First lunch out in his new sober-living setup. We need to raise more months’ rent for this place, but look at how he’s thriving! This new chapter is a bit scary for him but he looks and feels better than ever!”

A mug shot of Shaun Weiss, in early 2020, had revealed the severe ill-effects of drugs on his health and appearance.

He was sentenced to almost three months in jail in 2017 for stealing from an electrical store, just five days after his previous release. In 2018, he was arrested for shoplifting.

According to TMZ, Shaun Weiss is now attending regular outpatient meetings and staying at the sober living facility in Woodland Hills.
