Neither Robert Downey Jr’s Iron nor Chris Evans’ Captain America are Samuel L. Jackson’s favourite. In an interaction with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was asked who is his favourite Avenger. He first joked it’s his character, Nick Fury. However, he further said that it’s Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff, played by Scarlett Johansson.

In the MCU films, Black Widow is one of Fury’s most trusted spies and they share a good equation. Also, no one can forget the sacrifice she did in Avengers: Endgame to save the world.
Meanwhile, there are reports that in Marvel Phase 4, Nick will recruit a new superhero in the team of Avengers. The superhero will be Shang Chi from the film Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. However, nothing about this is yet confirmed.
