Some actors play their on-screen characters perfectly, and we cannot imagine anyone else replacing them. Robert Downey Jr portrayed Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for ten years. From the first film till Avengers: Endgame, fans have built a connection with RDJ’s character.
It was quite heartbreaking news for fans when the actor decided to retire from MCU. More was added to the pain when his character Tony Stark/Iron Man died in Endgame. However, fans always had a hope that he might return. Just like RDJ, Chris Evans bid goodbye to Marvel as Captain America. He also confirmed that he has no plans to return at all.
Since Robert Downey Jr’s MCU exit, there have been speculations of him planning to appear in Black Widow. It looks like all these are mere speculations. The Iron Man actor’s latest statement is something which might break all the hopes of MCU fans.

In the SmartLess Podcast, via Comicbook.com, the Avengers: Endgame actor talked about MCU movies. Robert Downey Jr said that “that’s all done” while talking about his potential return in MCU.
However, trusted insider DanielRPK shared a tweet in which he wrote, ‘For now…’. But for now, RDJ has confirmed he’s done with Marvel movies.

Up next, he will be seen in Sherlock Holmes 3. The film also stars Jude Law in the lead role. There were reports that the Iron Man star wants to cast Johnny Depp and Tom Holland in SH3.
