Robert Downey Jr Earned $275 Million As Iron Man; His Avengers: Endgame Salary Will SHOCK You!

Avengers: Endgame may have ended Robert Downey Jr AKA Iron Man’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it has indeed been one hell of a journey. Not only Tony Stark, the universe even made names like Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Chris Evans (Captain America) amongst others famous worldwide. Well, with big names come big cheques, but what we have today is rather mind-boggling!

Well, it is widely known that each one of these characters had started on an average note in terms of their salaries, but ended up getting hikes which were whopping! Robert Downey Jr began his journey with the first Iron Man film in 2008 and ended it last year, with Avengers: Endgame. The actor has reportedly earned a total of $275 million throughout his journey at the MCU. But wait, there’s more.

Everyone knows that Avengers: Endgame shattered some massive records at the box office worldwide. The film turned out to be the highest ever grossing film and even surpassed James Cameron’s Avatar, which had been holding the throne for long. With this treat, came in Downey’s big treat too!

Over the total Endgame collections of around $2.797 billion, It is rumoured that our Iron Man charged $20 million for his portrayal in the film, plus earned $55 million back-end profits too! Just not him, the makers even treated Chris Evans too who bid goodbye to Captain America as well.

From Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel) to Josh Brolin (Thanos) – each of the Avengers has achieved a milestone with their characters in the MCU. Owing to the same, their paychecks have been witnessing more and more zeroes with every film!
