Looks like Mickey Rourke is ready to face Robert De Niro again. On Saturday, the actor posted Robert’s picture on Instagram, promising to embarrass him ‘severely’ when they meet next.
The picture, which shows Robert De Niro smoking a cigarette, was captioned rather harshly. The caption read, “Hey Robert De Niro, that’s right I am talking to you, you big f–king crybaby.” To be noted, this line refers to Robert’s popular dialogue from the movie taxi Driver.
The caption continued, “A friend of mine just recently told me that a few months back you’re quoted as saying to newspapers “Mickey Rourke’s a liar he talks all kind of shit. Listen Mr.Tough Guy in the movies, you’re the 1st person that ever called me a liar and it was in a newspaper. Let me tell you something, you punk ass, when I see you I swear to God on my Grandmother, on my brother and all my dogs, I gonna embarrass you severely 100%. Mickey Rourke “as God is my witness”

The two actors have not been in each other’s good books after they acted together in Angel Heart, the 1987 neo-noir drama. De Niro was accused by Rourke of poor behaviour on the sets. He also accused him of poor acting.
Mickey Rourke has also accused that because of Robert De Niro, his feature on The Irishman was blocked.
Talking to ‘Live — Non è la D’Urso’, an Italian TV show, Mickey had said in September, “Marty Scorsese, great director, he wanted to meet me for a movie with Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Chris Walken, and Robert De Niro. The casting person told my manager that Robert De Niro said he refused to work with me in a movie.”
