This day comes in with sad news for Marvel fandom. Marvel comic icon, artist Joe Sinnott has breathed his last at the age of 93. The veteran artist has seen the studio take shape and is the man behind many of its iconic characters. Said to be the main man behind the Fantastic Four, Sinnott’s demise is one of the biggest shocks for the giant.
Joe Sinnott marked one of the last goodbyes from the Marvel’s initial team who kept the foundation brick. The man has worked with Marvel legends including the Late Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Sinnott’s family issued a statement and announced his peaceful passing away.

Joe Sinnott’s family in their statement wrote, “It with great sorrow that we must announce the passing of Joltin’ Joe Sinnott on June 25th at 8:40 am at the age of 93. He went peacefully with the knowledge that his family, friends, and fans adored him. He enjoyed life and was drawing up until the end. He always loved hearing from all of you and having your comments read to him. Each and every one of you were special to him.

Born in 1926, Sinnott went to create some of the most iconic characters. The artist worked on Fantastic Four from 1965 to 1981. After influencing various characters like Thor, Silver Surfer and the Avengers, Joe Sinnott went on to ink the Amazing Spiderman till 2019.
