Seems like actor-comedian Kevin Hart is in no mood to step down from making news amid the lockdown. After revealing his family is annoyed with him staying home, Kevin has now revealed that he had lied about the extent of pain following a bad car accident that had injured him severely. Read on.

A preview first: In September 2019, Kevin Hart was in the passenger seat of his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. The car suddenly went off-road and hit a verge. The accident took place in Malibu. Later in the police investigation it was reported that his driver Jared Black was driving recklessly.

However, recently Kevin Hart appeared on Joe Rogan’s much-followed podcast. It is here that he revealed that he could have legit died in that accident. He said, “My biggest cry in life came from the first day that I came home from the hospital, because I never had to see that house again. Like there was an option of me never seeing that home again. There was an option of me never walking on that driveway again. There was an option of me never seeing my wife and my kids again.”

Kevin Hart then revealed that he covered up the extent of the injuries during the recovery as he was afraid doctors would tell him to stop fighting. The actor-comedian who used a walker in the first few weeks of the crash regained his strength in two months.

“I lied in the hospital because I didn’t want them to know that I was having pain because I thought that they were gonna stop me from letting me continue to try my walks,” he said. “I was giving the perception that it’s better than what it is.”

He defined the current situation as a good place because he has seen bad days. The actor expressed that he respects life more now. He had even called his recovery a resurrection in a past interview.
