Kelly Preston, the wife of John Travolta, died at the age of 57 and now her death certificate has been revealed to the media. The certificate states that the actress died at her family home in Florida. Preston had been battling breast cancer for almost 2 years. After her death, Preston’s body was moved from her home in Clearwater to a nearby funeral home.

According to the report, the actress was cremated at the Brooksville Crematory in Brooksville, Florida. She is survived by husband John Travolta (66) and their children, Ella (20) and Benjamin (9). During their three-decade marriage, the couple was also parents tp son Jett, who died in 2009 at the age of 16 after suffering a seizure.

The ‘What a Girl Wants’ actress death was first reported by US Weekly. Following the death, the family is still trying to pick up the pieces left behind by “the heart and soul who kept the family united”.

The publication further reported that Travolta and Preston “were true partners” and Kelly Preston’s death comes as a huge shock to Travolta. The source revealed to the publication that the trio “can’t imagine life without her” but are “being strong”.

John Travolta also took to Instagram to reveal the death of his wife. In an emotional post, the actor wrote, “It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost her two-year battle with breast cancer. She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many.”

“Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered, I will be taking some time to be there for my children who have lost their mother, so forgive me in advance if you don’t hear from us for a while. But please know that I will feel your outpouring of love in the weeks and months ahead as we heal,” he continued in his post.

Many social media users also sympathised with the actor and offered their condolences. One user wrote, “Hello, hope you are getting through this the best way you can. We fans love you. You’re an incredible person. Stay strong!”
