Friends fame Rachel Green aka Jennifer Aniston has been our favourite ever since she played the iconic character in sitcom, Friends. Recently, Friends completed 25 years and Ralph Lauren launched a chain based on her character to pay tribute to the series. Jennifer is currently promoting her upcoming series called ‘The Morning Show’ and made a big revelation about getting bullied by Harvey Weinstein.
The #MeToo movement started with Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. He is one of the main culprits responsible for getting this movement started. He raped, molested and bullied a lot of women in the industry and Jennifer Aniston is one of them. The new cover of Variety magazine, Power Of Women starring Jennifer is talk of the town these days and why not, it is all about celebrating the power of womanhood.
In the same interview with Variety, Jennifer spoke how Harvey wanted her to wear a particular dress by his ex-wife’s brand, Marchesa and bullied her to wear it. She recalls the time when she was shooting for Derailed in 2005 and Harvey happens to be the producer of the movie. “He came to visit me in London while we were shooting. He’d be like, ‘OK, so I’d like you to wear one of these to the premiere,'” Jennifer said. She then revealed that she had gone through all the styles but nothing matched her taste. “[Marchesa] wasn’t what it is today. It was not for me. He was like, ‘You have to wear the dress,'” she added. “That was my only bullying. And I was like, ‘No, I will not wear the dress.’… What was he going to do? Come over here and make me wear it?!”
In fact, she also spoke about his “piggish behaviour” at the dinner table on the same night of the premiere. “There was the premiere dinner. I remember I was sitting at the dinner table with Clive, and our producers and a friend of mine was sitting with me. And he literally came to the table and said to my friend: ‘Get up!’ And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh.’ And so my friend got up and moved and Harvey sat down,” Aniston recalled. “It was just such a level of gross entitlement and piggish behavior.”
