Actress Naya Rivera, who starred in the popular show Glee, is reported to be missing after being involved in a swimming accident. According to the Ventura County sheriff, the accident occurred at Lake Piru in Ventura County of California.
On Wednesday, 9:30 pm, a dive team and police investigators were sent to the area to look for a drowning victim.

Later on Wednesday night, the missing person was identified as Naya Rivera by the sheriff’s department. The department further said that a search and rescue operation is being conducted. The operation will continue on Thursday.
After Naya’s son was found alone in a boat, the locals were trying to find the kid’s mother, according to CBS Los Angeles. The boat, which was rented around 1 pm on Wednesday, was found at Lake Peru. Three hours later, the child was found alone. He is reportedly unharmed. According to the kid, his mother never returned to the boat. They were swimming.
Helicopters, drones, and dive teams were efficiently used to find Rivera.
Naya played the character of Santana Lopez on ‘Glee’ from 2009-2015. She received numerous nominations for the character at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, Grammys, and Teen Choice Awards.
In 2011, she was signed by Columbia Records and released a single with rapper Big Sean, titled ‘Sorry’.
Later, Naya Rivera was a part of ‘Devious Maids’ and ‘Step Up: High Water’.
