Last August, a rumor about Giancarlo Esposito broke down on the internet that he is being considered for an important role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All Esposito’s fans got very excited to see him in a Marvel movie but unfortunately, no official announcement has been made by Marvel Studios till today.
Esposito is known for his powerful performances as drug lord Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Imperial Moff Gideon in Star Wars: The Mandalorian star. He has recently voiced for Superman’ archenemy Lex Luthor in the adult animated series named Harley Quinn. He will also be seen playing the role of dictator Anton Costillo in Ubisoft video game Far Cry 6.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Giancarlo Esposito was asked about these rumors and he finally spoke up. He said, “There’s been all these rumors about being with Marvel. I want to work with those guys, I’ve put it out into the world, I haven’t created any of those rumors, but I worked years ago with [Marvel Studios co-president and executive producer] Louis D’Esposito … back when he was doing [The] Cotton Club, he was [second assistant director].”

Giancarlo Esposito added that Marvel Studios are known for their fantastic work, and he would want to do something enduring with them.
