Actress Emma Watson, 22, is in talks to play Cinderella in Kenneth Branagh’s film of the same name.

“We are still in talks with Watson. It’s too early to say anything. But Emma seemed excited when we discussed the role with her.”

Cate Blanchett has already agreed to play the wicked stepmother in the film.
