Despite garnering so much of fame and wealth, the superstar Dwayne Johnson never ceases in making some big professional decisions. The pro-wrestler turned actor and businessman has once again grabbed the headlines owing to his new investment with ex-wife, Dany Garcia.

Both Dwayne and Garcia are longtime business partners are now, they have joined the forces with Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital. They came up with an amount of $15 million and purchased XFL- American Football League, just a few hours before the auction.

It is learnt that Dwayne Johnson and RedBird Capital have splitted the sum evenly.

Speaking about the same, Dwayne Johnson said, “The acquisition of the XFL with my talented partners, Dany Garcia and Gerry Cardinale, is an investment for me that’s rooted deeply in two things – my passion for the game and my desire to always take care of the fans.”

“With pride and gratitude for all that I’ve built with my own two hands, I plan to apply these callouses to the XFL, and look forward to creating something special for the players, fans, and everyone involved for the love of football,” Dwayne added in the press release.
