Deadpool 2 Box Office: Deadpool 2 had a good weekend as it brought in 33.40 crore. For a Hollywood film with an A rating tag, these numbers are healthy as it is now assured that there would be some sorts of profits for the makers and the distributors in India.

That said, the kind of opening that the film had taken on Friday, one would have expected at least 35 crore to be collected over the weekend. The stage was set and there was a platform for the film to grow as well since it is running on 2000 screens. Still, since there hasn’t been growth between Friday and Sunday, there is a good possibility that the weekdays would be just about okay.

A lifetime total of 50 crore is still on the cards for Deadpool 2 and that would be a much bigger total when compared to Deadpool. However, after the blockbuster success of Avengers: Infinity War and the good reviews as well as word of mouth that Deadpool 2 had enjoyed, one expected the film to find itself comfortably placed between 75-100 crore range.
