A couple of days ago ‘Deadpool‘ Ryan Reynolds dropped a ‘not so ad’ of his company Mint Mobile. ‘Captain America’ Chris Evans seems pretty impressed by the idea of how Ryan has actually advertised the company by not showing any advertisement as such.
Due to COVID-19 lockdown, all the big-bang companies are finding it hard to find a way to create advertisements for their products. But Ryan Reynolds being our very own Deadpool surely has some smart tricks covered up his sleeve.

Ryan Reynolds starts the video by telling us how they shot this ad before lockdown and it stops within a couple of seconds. He then decides to share the screen of his laptop and show a presentation he has made to advertise Mint Mobile.

Those slides are filled with self-aware humour and have written Ryan Reynolds written all over it. Especially when in the end his mother’s video call pops up and he goes like, “Oh right, Mother’s Day, f**k.”
Chris Evans quoted Ryan Reynolds’ tweet and said, “How is he able to single-handedly jiu-jitsu any circumstance into a perfect marketing campaign?? I’m gonna go switch my plan while I try to figure this out.”

Even before this, Ryan Reynolds proved how much of a marketing genius is he when he decided to buy a full-page ad on the New York Times instead of running the ad during Superbowl. The reason behind this was to save the money and provide the new users with a three-month free trial.
