Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have been quite open about their relationship and their social media PDA is the cutest thing you will see on the internet lately. But what’s even cuter is the fact that Camila found inspiration in her dreamy love story to create her next upcoming album.

Yes, you read that right! Cabello just confirmed that there are songs about Shawn Mendes on Camila Cabello’s album titled Romance. Camila opened up about the songs she wrote for Shawn during an interview with ITV, states Entertainment Tonight.

“I’m so happy. I’ve known him for such a long time and I don’t know, he just feels like home to me,” said Camila. By all reports, Cabello is extremely happy and in love with Shawn and this album was just a very big hint of how strong the two lovebirds are together. Talking about the songs, Camila said, “Towards the end, there were songs about him, yeah, yeah.” The album also covers songs about her relationship with Matthew Hussey, who she broke up with in June. “Every song is its own story. It was inspired by, I was in my first serious relationship at the beginning of this album. That’s what inspired Romance and it is about falling in love,” the singer concluded.

Camila also mentioned that she leave some stuff out of her songs out of regard for the people she dates. “All of the stories are just my life and what’s happened the last two years,” she said. “It’s hard because I know people will know things are about them. Sometimes I won’t put that line in because it will hurt the other person’s emotions.”

Interestingly, this is the first time Camila has written love songs that are inspired by her own life. The 22-year-old singer said, “I literally had no time to fall in love before I was 20 because I was too busy working all the time. Everything from my first album was drawn from my imagination.”
