There have been massive protests all over the world on Black Lives Matter ever since George Floyd died. He was choked by a white Police officer and died following breathing issues within 8 minutes. Ever since his death, celebrities have been coming out and speaking in support of black lives. Now, Brooklyn Nine-Nine fame Terry Crews is getting huge backlash for a tweet.

Terry Crews took to his Twitter account and wrote, “If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology. We must ensure #blacklivesmatter doesn’t morph into #blacklivesbetter”.

The tweet went viral in no time and people started criticising the America’s Got Talent host.

A user replied to the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor’s tweet and wrote, “You have heard of the phrase “cross that bridge when you come to it?” Correct? You keep putting out this energy but we’re still seeing black ppl killed senselessly so like…read the room, Terry.”

Another user replied, “The Black lives of my mama, aunties, grandmama have been filled with experiences of actually being better & treated like they were morally, intellectually, worse. Our Black lives already have to be better to make it through life. Go flex your titties and read Imani Perry, bruh.”
