The COVID- 19 has created a huge mess all across and the film industry is suffering a lot. Now, the same pandemic might take a toll on Rachel Morrison, who has been working on Chadwick Boseman starrer Black Panther 2, as a cinematographer.
It’s not that Rachel has been infected by the virus or something but it’s a different issue. Reportedly, she was into the work of her directorial debut, Flint Strong. And then, unfortunately, the shoot was shut down due to the pandemic. But as the authorities are trying to bring the industry back to normalcy, Rachel might get to resume her work on Flint Strong. And here the main problem comes in.
As Rachel Morrison will return to her directorial debut, there are high chances that its schedule might clash with Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther 2. As the sequel is one of the highly awaited projects in Hollywood, it would be really hard for her to back out of the film.

Speaking about the same, Rachel Morrison said, “I was supposed to deliver my movie and then a few months later hop on to Black Panther 2. Now, there might be some issue of those overlapping,” reports Indiewire.
Owing to the same issue, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler and Rachel are frequently discussing the schedules of both the films. “If we had gone back in September, I think we could make it, but now it’s a bit of a moment of truth for everyone to realise if my movie is definitely going back in January that I probably won’t be able to do Panther, which is devastating to me. If we can’t go back in January and we get pushed into the fall of next year, maybe I can do Panther,” she added.
