
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson coming to the DC universe as Black Adam left the fans excited and awaited for more. If the reports are now to go by, To All The Boys I Have Loved Before actor Noah Centineo has joined the cast. The heartthrob will star alongside The Rock in a pivotal part in the New Line-DC film and below are all the details.
For the unversed, Dwayne Johnson recently announced the long-pending Black Adam finally happening. Black Adam is Shazam’s arc-enemy. The character with time has evolved to be one of DC’s prominent anti-hero.
Now, according to a report in Hollywood reporter, Noah Centineo, the actor who garnered a massive fan base for his charm and well, hotness, in Netflix’s To All The Boys I Have Loved Before, has joined the cast. Centineo will be playing Atom Smasher in Black Adam. Atom Smasher is known for controlling his molecular structure and for manipulating his size and strength.

Jaume Collet-Serra will be taking over the project as the director. Before Black Adam, Serra has directed Dwayne Johnson in Jungle Cruise, that is yet to release. Adam Sztykiel will be penning the first superhero role for The Rock. There is no update as to when the film goes on floors, with the pandemic still strong, it’s unclear.
More updates about the anticipated film are expected in the DC FanDome, where Black Adam is expected to be the inaugural centerpiece.
