Batman fans, here’s a piece of great news for all of you! The Warner Bros. along with Matt Reeves is all set to make a TV spinoff of their upcoming Batman film and it will be streaming digitally on HBO Max.
Reportedly, the said TV series will be about the famed Gotham Police Department and will be produced by Matt Reeves himself. That’s not it as the series will be set in the same universe that is of Reeves’ upcoming film with Robert Pattinson.

According to a Variety report, it will be the first project of Warner Bros. and Matt Reeves’ overall deal.

Matt Reeves has been quoted by Variety saying, “This is an amazing opportunity, not only to expand the vision of the world I am creating in the film, but to explore it in the kind of depth and detail that only a longform format can afford — and getting to work with the incredibly talented Terence Winter, who has written so insightfully and powerfully about worlds of crime and corruption, is an absolute dream,”
Sarah Aubrey, head of original content for HBO Max also opened up about the spinoff and said, “We are so fortunate to have such great partners in Matt, Dylan, and Terry and unprecedented access to a wealth of IP from our partners at Warner Bros. and DC,”
