Russo Brothers with their extravaganza affair, Avengers: Endgame, is back in the news. And guess what, this time not for a good reason. Netizens are calling out the director duo for allegedly copying a scene from 2016’s Suicide Squad.

Yes, you read that right! A Twitter user shared a scene from Suicide Squad. The clip comprises an entry of Katana (played by Karen Fukuhara). Further in the video, Katana is fighting a group of people on an empty street. In the end, a person is seen begging for mercy from her.

Along with the video, a user wrote, “CRIMINALS DESERVE NO MERCY #ReleaseTheAyerCut.” He compared it with Russo Brothers’ Avengers: Endgame sequence. The one where Hawkeye is seen killing a group of people. Expectedly, the post sparked the reactions on Twitter.

Reacting to the same, one user wrote, “It’s literally the exact same scene except it actually makes sense and it looks better in Suicide Squad. The Russos are SHAMELESS,” read the caption.”

Another one slammed MCU along with Russo Brothers. He wrote, “Lots and lots of things are copied in MCU not just from live action movie but also from animated.. but I won’t say officially they copied it might b coincidence.. or inspiration.. but I love the katana scene it was brutal.#ReleaseTheAyerCut.”
