The question of who should’ve and who shouldn’t have died in Avengers: Endgame will always be on fans’ minds. The film released a year ago but this Marvel film has affected fans to the core. A lot of fans are still unhappy with Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man’s death.
For some, Iron Man’s death was a perfect end to RDJ and Tony Stark’s MCU journey. But there are fans who believe Captain America should’ve wielded the infinity gauntlet. Our Avengers: Endgame Trivia #54 will tell you why the makers didn’t kill Chris Evans aka Captain America. In an interview with Cheatsheet earlier, film’s writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely said, “We realized over the course of the movies that Cap and Tony were on crossing arcs. We realized at one point, late in 2015, that for Steve to be his best self, he was going to have to get a life, and for Tony to be his best self, he might have to lose his. And that’s why Captain America can’t die in this movie. Because he was willing to die in the first one. And that’s not a journey.”

Not just Captain America, a certain section of people believe that Captain Marvel should’ve snapped her fingers to kill the Mad Titan. As she is cited as the strongest Avenger, they believe she would have survived the impact of infinity stones. But Avengers: Endgame writers didn’t want to make this film about CM.
