Avengers: Endgame: REAL Reason Behind 'Iron Man' Robert Downey Jr's Death After Wearing Thanos' Gauntlet Will Leave You Teary-Eyed Yet Again
Avengers: Endgame: Wondering Why ‘Iron Man’ Robert Downey Jr Didn’t Feel Immediate Pain After Wielding Infinity Gauntlet Like Hulk? Here’s The Answer!

Avengers: Endgame has been one of the most painful Marvel movies of all time. Though people were happy that all the superheroes including Doctor Strange, Spider-Man and Black Panther to name a few came back, the saddest part was that we lost three of our leading Avengers – Iron Man, Black Widow and Captain America.

Remember the scene in Avengers: Endgame where Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk aka Bruce Banner wielded the infinity gauntlet? It almost destroyed his hand and the pain he felt was extreme.

On the other side, Iron Man didn’t feel that kind of pain like Hulk did. In fact, he was able to say ‘I am Iron Man’ to Thanos before snapping his fingers wearing the infinity gauntlet. Wondering why Iron Man didn’t feel that kind of pain? Avengers: Endgame Director Joe Russo told Comicbook.com, “His suit is keeping him alive here,” talking in the context of Stark’s technology. “But when he snaps those fingers…”

About Tony Stark’s death, Avengers: Endgame Screenwriter Stephen McFeely stated, “It’s too much.” Russo then revealed that the scene of Tony Stark snapping his fingers was the last shot of the reshooting schedule back in 2019. It was almost four months before the release of the film. Talking about Tony’s look in the last moments, McFeely said, “If it’s too far, you can’t look at it.” Adding to the same, Russo said, “If it’s not enough, then you don’t feel it.”

Does this not make you emotional? It refreshes all the memories as if it was just yesterday we all went to see Avengers: Endgame.
