Angelina Jolie’s $100 Million Revenge Threat Has Instead Brought Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston Closer?

While it is the budding romance between rumoured couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston grabbing the headlines, ex-wife Angelina Jolie is constantly being dragged into it. If the gossip mill is to be believed, the Mr. & Mrs. Smith actress is getting bitter and is keeping their kids away from Pitt as revenge. Now, a latest development suggests that all of it is barely helping her!

For the unversed, a few days ago, reports suggested that the Salt actress has given an ultimatum to Brad Pitt that if he doesn’t dump Jennifer Aniston, she would slap a $100 million divorce settlement on his face. Further fuelling the fire, was the report of her keeping kids away from Brad Pitt as revenge.

“Ange wants a much bigger settlement. It wouldn’t be surprising if she demands $100 million or more. Brad describes it as a never-ending nightmare that he can’t wake up from. It’s nearly four years later and Ange is still trying to control him. She’s seemingly doing everything she can to make the divorce as complicated as possible,” an insider told IBTimes.

However, it looks like the tactic isn’t really helping her but instead turning things worse for her. All of the threats seem to have brought the new couple closer to each other, and they’re happier than ever.

The source opened up about the same as, “Angelina can’t stand Jen and is convinced that she’s only back with Brad to taunt her. She thinks it’s some sort of revenge for stealing Brad. Ange had hoped that by refusing to reach a settlement and making threats about the kids, she’d drive Brad and Jen apart. But the funny thing is the total opposite has happened — it’s actually brought them closer together. Brad knows Jen is one of the few people he can trust.”
