A few weeks ago, both Hugh and James shared how Dafne Keen bagged the role of X-23. The actor-director duo was all praises for her. So is she willing to reprise the character again, now that Marvel Studios have the rights? The actress told Comicbook, “Yes, definitely. 100 per cent.”
Dafne Keen also credited Hugh Jackman for making her an actress that she is today. She spoke how the Wolverine star made her feel comfortable. The Logan actress called our beloved Wolverine a humble person. She wants to be as grounded has Hugh Jackman. “I had an amazing time, it never felt like working. I never wanted to leave set. They taught me so much, honestly, just… I don’t even know what they taught me. It was so intensive that just watching them, I soaked everything they did up like a sponge. This doesn’t have to do with acting, but I remember seeing how humble Hugh was with everyone really made me think, ‘If I ever become famous or whatever I don’t want it to get to my head and I want to be as humble and as grounded as Hugh.'”
Meanwhile, Marvel now has the rights to Wolverine and other X-Men characters. They even own the rights to Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool. As per numerous reports, MCU wants Hugh Jackman to reprise the role of the clawed superhero. But the actor is in no mood to play the character again on screen.
