Amber Heard is clearly at the worst phase of her life. The trouble for her in divorce battle with Johnny Depp only seems to be increasing. Owing to the same, it is being speculated that the actress may be removed from the Aquaman franchise. In fact, gossip mill has it that Game Of Thrones fame Emilia Clarke is being considered for the role of Mera.
Previously, this has happened with Johnny Depp. The actor was removed from the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. It is often seen that the filmmakers want to keep their movies away from any controversy. Also, because that majorly can affect the box office numbers as well as the brand image. Whether or not that happens will be seen, but we wonder if Amber Heard will get a chance like Avengers: Endgame actor Robert Downey Jr did as Iron Man.
For the unversed, Marvel makers weren’t even sure about hiring Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. They felt that it could be turn upside down. However, Marvel President Kevin Feige had faith in him, and look how that turned out? But that’s not the point.

Initially, Robert Downey Jr dealt with drug addiction. In fact, our Iron Man was even ended up in jail owing to the same. He was reportedly sentenced to 3 years in imprisonment in 1999. However, a safe route came in when he was instead sent to a rehab centre in California.
Iron Man turned out to be the saviour of Robert Downey Jr’s career. Not only did it garner him unprecedented fame, but also, he found a loyal fan base. Nothing but Avengers: Endgame is the biggest example of it.
Amber Heard is equally loved as Mera as far as Aquaman goes. If she continued her spectacular portrayal in the frachise, that could indeed turn out to be a turning point for her. The actress has indeed lost a lot owing to her battle with Johnny Depp.
Now, whether or not DC extended universe makers remove or keep Amber Heard remains unknown. All we can do is hope for the best!
