Everyone’s favourite The Office’s Jim John Krasinski once lost a role to Chris Evans’ Captain America for Marvel. He was offered the role long before Evans but didn’t make it to the finals. However, since then we’ve been hearing a lot of rumours about him joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in one way or another.

Last month it was reported that he’s been in talks with Marvel’s main boss Kevin Feige for Fantastic Four. It seems the meetings have finally turned out to be fruitful and John is one more step ahead to enter the superhero universe.

A report published in Canoe, has a source quoted saying, “The studio has been taking virtual meetings with various actors, writers, and directors over the past weeks, and one of those people is none other than John Krasinski. He and Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige have both said they’d love to work together, and it seems that’s now closer to happening than ever before.”

Krasinski came into the spotlight with his role as Jim Halpert in The Office, aired in India on Star World. He has also directed five films, including his breakthrough hit A Quiet Place, in which he starred alongside his wife Emily Blunt.
