After hitting a roadblock due to COVID- 19 pandemic, Keanu Reeves is back in the business. The actor resumed his work on The Matrix 4. The highly anticipated fourth instalment witnessed a five-month hiatus due to the ban on shooting.
Better late than never, Keanu is grateful to be back at the work. Earlier, it was learnt that the shoot hit a halt during March in Berlin. Now, luckily, as Hollywood is moving towards the normalcy, the film’s proceedings have seen a day of lights.
While talking to Associated Press, Keanu Reeves spoke on resuming The Matrix 4. He said, “Everyone loves the project and if you’re ever going to get in a situation that needs to be figured out…show business people are the best. We’re scrappy, we know how to get stuff done, we’re inventive, we think on our feet. It’s a great honour and I’m grateful to be working.”

Speaking about the effects of COVID- 19 conditions on the film’s shooting, he added, “There’s thoughtful, effective protocols in place. The rhythm of filmmaking has not really been interrupted or impacted, and that’s because of all the hard work and organization.”
Meanwhile, it was recently that Warner Bros shifted the film’s release to April 1, 2022. Earlier, The Matrix 4 was slated to release on May 21, 2021.
Along with Keanu Reeves, the film will also feature Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Henwick, Ibarra, Neil Patrick Harris, Toby Onwumere, Brian J. Smith, Eréndira Ibarra, Andrew Caldwell and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. It is being helmed by Lana Wachowski.
