Selena Gomez is all set to reunite with her Wizards of Waverly Place brother David Henrie. The duo recently shared this news of their collab via an Instagram post and here are some updates on it.
The singer took to her social media app and shared details of their venture. Selena has come on board as the executive producer for the David Henrie directed This is The Year. She also mentioned that the team will be having a live virtual premiere on August 28.
Sharing three pictures, Selena captioned them: “I’m so excited to finally get to share the event trailer for @thisistheyearfilm on my official YouTube channel and let you know that David & I are having a live virtual premiere on August 28th hosted by @charlidamelio and @dixiedamelio. Can’t wait to watch the film with you all! 🍿💫”

Talking about the announcement the on-screen brother-sister made, David posted a video to his Instagram account which showed him saying “Hmm…” before the camera moves to the other side of the frame and we see Selena smiling at the camera.
Henrie and Gomez have remained good friends since they worked together on Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place. In 2017, Gomez attended Henrie’s wedding to Maria Cahill and captioned a pic from the wedding as: “Very much in my feelings about my big brother getting married. Even though we for sure knew it would be him first. May God bless you and your beautiful wife Henrie! 💕”
David Henrie was the one who helped Selena Gomez set up her Instagram account. He even featured in her initial stories.
