Rapper Tory Lanez was arrested early Sunday morning after a house party altercation turned violent. The arrest happened in the wee hours of the morning (around 4:30 a.m.) near a house in the Hollywood hills. The 27-year-old rapper was arrested and charged with carrying a concealed weapon in his vehicle.

According to TMZ, officers responded to the scene and were told by witnesses that people had been arguing inside an SUV before shots were fired in the air, and the vehicle sped off, the report states. The LAPD were able to track down the car and found the Say It rapper and rapper Megan Thee Stallion along with another woman inside. A search of the SUV turned up a gun and four shell casings were found

Reportedly, Stallion injured her foot on broken glass found on the floor of the car. She was treated at a local hospital. Police have commented that Stallion was a ‘victim’ in the incident. Lanez has been charged with a felony for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.

Talking about work, in March, Tory teamed up with Jamaican singer Buju Banton to remix Trust. Over the past weekend he released two singles – 392 featuring VVS Ken and Staccato. The two-song package was titled The VVS Capsule. Stallion most recently released her EP Suga – a remix of the song Savage.
