Do you remember Dr. Alan Grant, the paleontologist, from Jurassic Park? Well, the actor who plays the character in the franchise, Sam Neill, revealed on Twitter that he is all set to reprise his role in the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion.

The actor has been keeping his fans and followers entertained during the pandemic lockdown by showing his prowess on the ukelele, reading poems and children stories, keeping his followers abreast of events on his farm in Central Otago and much more.
The Kiwi actor, took to social media yesterday and shared the news of his return to the dinosaurs film franchise. He tweeted: “Hold onto your hats- gettin’ my old one back on this week, and facing off dinosaurs once again. Best yet. Excited and terrified- these things will kill ya. The actor also took to Instagram and shared a picture of his character writing, “Tomorrow I’m back in The Grant Hat and into the Whole Jurassic World. Terror knows no bounds.”
Neill’s co-star Bryce Dallas Howard confirmed in June that shooting on the film will resume shortly. The film began shooting in February in Canada before moving to the UK. But on March 13, before Neill had shot his scenes, the production was put on halt due to the pandemic. Shooting resumed on July 6.
Jurassic World: Dominion, directed by Colin Trevorrow, is set for release on June 21, 2021. The film’s story is said to follow the events of Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom (2018). It will focus on the dinosaurs that were sold as well as those that were freed at the end of the movie.
The film also stars Jeff Goldblum (Dr Ian Malcolm), Laura Dern (Dr Ellie Sattler), Chris Pratt (Owen Brady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), Jake Johnson (Lowery Cruthers) and Omar Sy (Barry Sembene).
