Fast & Furious is one of the biggest action film franchises in Bollywood. Started in 2001, the F&F still continue to rock the worldwide box office. The franchise has seen 8 films and 1 spin-off so far and at the same time, 2 new installments and two spin-offs are in making.

Starring big stars like Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Late Paul Walker (Till Furious 7) and others, almost every Fast & Furious film has struck gold at the box office.

Here’s a list of all the F&F films so far and the business they have done at the worldwide box office over the years:

1) The Fast and the Furious

The 2001 film made Vin Diesel a huge star and gave Hollywood one of the biggest franchise ever. Directed by Rob Cohen, the film also starred Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and others. The worldwide box office business of the film was $214 million.

2) 2 Fast 2 Furious

Vin Diesel didn’t star in the 2nd film due to creative disagreements. The 2nd installment of the series got an average response from critics but went on do better business than the first part. Directed by John Singleton, the film did a business of $236 million according to Box Office Mojo.

3) The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift

The 3rd installment of the series was directed by Justin Lin. Like 2 Fast @ Furious, this one also got an average critical response but the disappointing factor was its average box office performance. The 2006 film did a worldwide business of $159 million.

4) Fast & Furious

The franchise made a strong comeback in 2009 with Fast & Furious. Vin Diesel also made a comeback and the film did a business of $360 million. Fast & Furious was directed by Justin Lin.

5) Fast Five

This one as the name suggests was the fifth part of F&F series and released in 2011. Fast Five was Dwayne Johnson’s first film of the series and it went on to do a huge business of $626 million which was almost double of the less part. Directed by Justin Lin, this one was an unprecedented success.

6) Fast & Furious 6

There was no looking back for the film as the next part of the series in 2013 did even better as it did a worldwide business of $789 million.

7) Furious 7

While the shooting of Furious 7 was going on Paul Walker died in a car accident. While the franchise was already huge, Paul’s memory brought much more audience in the theaters and Furious 7 went on to cross $1 billion. The film proved to be the first F&F film to cross the mark and did a worldwide business of $1,515 million.

8) The Fate of the Furious

The 8th part of the franchise released in 2017. While The Fate of the Furious couldn’t surpass Furious 7, the F Gary Gray directed film still did a huge business of $1,236 million.

9) Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

A spin-off starring Dwayne Johnson & Jason Statham released last year. The film couldn’t touch the par set by the series over the years but still managed to do a business of $759 million.
