Marshall Bruce Mathers III, also known by his stage name Eminem, is one of the best rappers that the world has ever witnessed. The Stan singer is incredibly talented and has given us some of the best songs in the world including Lose Yourself, Not Afraid, When I’m Gone, The Monster, to name a few. Success and rivalries go hand in hand and one of the biggest feud that the Mockingbird singer had, was with Will Smith.
It all started when in 1999, Will Smith won the best male video category in MTV VMAs. During his acceptance speech, he mentioned expletive language or threaten people to sell records.
Eminem thought that Will took a dig at him and for all the people who use their profanity to sell records. Replying to Bad Boys actor, the Stan singer released a song called ‘Without Me’ and mocked his image of a nice guy.

Will Smith didn’t respond to the song for six years and came back with a kickass reply by releasing ‘Mr Nice Guy’ and called out for Eminem openly. The lyrics said, “Mr. Nice Guy, relationship advice guy…Light on the vices, priceless smile…Look at the eyes, got the look…Of a survivor, husband, father…Dissed by Eminem but didn’t bother him…Yup well he classy…Big Will just get another 20 mill’ walk right past E…I’ma nice guy why ya’ll harassing me, huh!”
Also, during an interview in 2013, DJ Jazzy Jeff told Montreality that Will Smith gave some really honest feedback to Eminem and said:
“I was a big fan of Eminem, especially of his super early stuff. I just kinda reached out to him and we did some stuff together… Will Smith walked into the room, and I think I played ‘Just The Two Of Us. Will listened to it, and Will looked at Eminem and said, ‘You are either gonna be the biggest flop in Hip Hop, or you are gonna be the biggest thing that we have ever seen in Hip Hop. And Eminem never forgot that.”
Well, well. The cat is out of the bag now.
