Now, adding to the list is a man who has shared his childhood experience. Ben Gravolet, who is now 52-year old was harshly insulted by Ellen. The US host back then used to work under his mom’s recruitment agency. She would criticize everything, starting from his weight to his actions.
In a conversation with Dailymail.co.uk, Ben Gravolet opened up about being bullied and his tormenting experience. The Ellen DeGeneres Show host was 20-years old back then. Ben described DeGeneres as, “just the meanest, nastiest, most horrible person.”

Ben Gravolet claimed that Ellen DeGeneres used to enjoy seeing him upset. “I would dread going to [my mom’s] office to see her after school or on a day if I was sick and Ellen was there. She would criticize my weight. I would try to do homework in the office, she’d call me stupid, she’d call me fat. She would criticize my clothes. I was just a boy and this was a grown woman who took pleasure in seeing me become visibly upset,” he shared.
He even went on to call her an ‘incredible actor.’ Ben said, “All I could think was she must be an incredible actor because she was one of the most vile people I’ve ever met in my life. Who takes pleasure in giving a child pain?”
The 12-year-old boy had to face high criticism because of his drawing skills. He shared an experience when he was drawing behind Ellen DeGeneres’ desk in his mom’s agency. The Finding Dory star told him, “I guess that would look nice if you could draw.”
