Johnson and his family tested COVID-19 positive around three weeks ago and have now recovered from it. As a thank you the frontline warriors, he has given the firefighters of Ridgefield Fire Department’s engine company No. 2 (New Jersey) pairs of his Project Rock Under Armour sneakers. Isn’t that sweet!
Posting a video on Instagram about the same, Dwayne Johnson captioned it, “Glad you (bad a**es) got my note – Ridgefield Fire Department @ridgefieldparkfirenj A very small way of us saying, THANK YOU to you guys and all our first responders across our country. I see you and we’re grateful to you for always taking care of our families and communities. Stay safe, stay healthy. Love and respect – DJ.”

As per a report on NJ.com, this sweet gesture by Dwayne Johnson was made with the partnership of Under Armour and the First Responders Children’s Foundation, a New York nonprofit organization. Jillian Crane, president of NY NGO, reads a letter from Johnson to the firefighter.
Dwayne’s letter read, “During these tough times you’ve protected our families, our loved ones and our communities. As a small mahalo for all that you do, from myself and Under Armour, here’s my newly released Project Rock PR3s. Hopefully these will help the hardest workers in the room kick a** even more.”
