Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock’s “Jabroni” Gets Inducted Into Dictionary!

Here is a piece of good news for Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and WWE fans. The wrestler’s one of the iconic slangs, “Jabroni” has got an official dictionary status.

Yes, you have read it right. No one can forget Dwayne using “Jabroni” during his pro wrestling days. The word was originated by the wrestler, the Iron Sheik, and later made famous by The Rock.

In Dictionary.com’s September update, “Jabroni” is the new word that has been legitimized by the site including 650 other new words. Besides The Rock’s slang, the site also added ‘amirite’, ‘ish’ and ‘janky’. Have a look at the official tweet by Dictionary.com

Dwayne took to Twitter to express his happiness. He wrote, “Wow – very cool! Honored have a word actually make the dictionary,” he wrote. “Making my all my teachers very proud. For the record, I may have made the word ‘Jabroni’ (a noun, btw;) famous and part of culture, BUT the Iron Sheik made it famous in our wild wrestling locker rooms!”
